Volunteer Info
Thank you for your interest in being a Next Step volunteer! Your time and care for our residents is greatly valued. All volunteers are required to attend training and pass an FBI background check. Get started by filling out a volunteer application.
Here is a list of areas we regularly need volunteers:
 | Group Leaders/Teachers Do you have a special skill, passion, or hobby to share? We need group leaders for art, gardening, physical fitness, hygiene, cooking, Bible study, and more. |
 | General Volunteer We have special projects that require extra hands! Cleaning, gardening, carpentry, and event planning are some areas you may be able to get involved. |
 | Respite Team Respite volunteers provide time off for our on-site staff by spending weekends with the residents. The respite team requires an additional training and interview process. |
